    A new version of the opera “Tamerlane” will be performed on the Austrian stage

    Fans of G.F. Handel’s work are looking forward to the big premiere: the opera “Tamerlane” in a completely new, independent interpretation.

    The opera Tamerlane will be presented for the first time in concert variation on April 9, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

    Previously, this interpretation of George Frideric Handel’s work was staged in a theatrical format. The Vienna performance will make its debut as an independent academic musical performance.

    The National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and the Honored Choir of the Republic will perform in the concert.
