The ABBA Awards were initiated by entrepreneurs Armanzhan Baytasov and Beibit Alibekov.
The restaurants were evaluated by two independent expert groups of 20 people each:
- Team Armanzhan Baitasov was formed from among the business leaders and elite of the rating lists Forbes Kazakhstan.
- Beibit’s expert group Alibekov’s group includes media personalities, entrepreneurs and regular restaurant patrons.
The assessment was based on three areas: cuisine, service and atmosphere. The list includes institutions with high scores.
