Tashkent, get ready for a big cultural event – the opening of the Center for Contemporary Art (CCA) is less than 60 days away. Time flies, and we’re already at the finish line!

And while the project is taking the last steps to launch, our representatives keep their finger on the pulse even thousands of kilometers away from Tashkent. In the heart of Paris, Gayane Umerova, Chairman of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan, held key talks with the co–founders of Studio KO, talented architects Carl Fournier and Olivier Marty.

We discussed everything that makes a space truly alive:

  • exquisite interior solutions;
  • bold architectural accents;
  • thoughtful organization of exhibition areas;
  • cozy public spaces where it will be pleasant to spend time.

The countdown has started – and it’s not just the numbers on the calendar. An exciting journey into the world of modern art awaits us very soon!

In addition, in 2026, the world expects the opening of such major cultural centers as:

  • Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in California (USA);
  • Suzhou Museum in China;
  • Muzej Lah in Slovenia;
  • MoN Takanawa in Japan;
  • The V&A Oriental Museum in the UK;
  • Obama Presidential Center in Illinois (USA);
  • KANAL-Pompidou Centre in Belgium;
  • Guggenheim Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi;
  • New Museum in New York (USA).
