Dubai Run 2025 — the race that united over 300,000 advocates of a healthy lifestyle
At the end of November, Sheikh Zayed Road turned into a large-scale sports arena. More than 307,000 people took part in Dubai Run, one of the key events of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 and simultaneously the largest free run in the world.

The event began with flair: a column of police supercars set a ceremonial tone, after which hundreds of thousands of participants transformed the city into a space of energy and motion.
The race became one of the most anticipated events of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, bringing together families with children, professional athletes, amateur runners, and those who decided to take on the challenge for the first time.

Following the philosophy of “Find Your Challenge,” each participant could choose a route: the 5-kilometer course — ideal for families and beginner runners — passed along Sheikh Zayed Road through the Downtown business district and finished at the lively Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard near Dubai Mall. Experienced runners tested themselves on the 10-kilometer route, which ran past the city’s iconic landmarks: the futuristic Museum of the Future, the Dubai Water Canal, and the majestic Burj Khalifa, with the finish at the DIFC Gate.

“The fact that 307,000 runners took to the streets speaks to the incredible spirit of community in Dubai. In the UAE Year of Community, the Dubai Run, organized with the support of Mai Dubai, clearly reflects our shared goal — to build a city where sport unites people regardless of their background or fitness level. Seeing families run alongside professional athletes, children conquer their first 5 km, and witnessing the genuine joy at every finish line — all of this reminds us why the event has become such an important part of the DFC calendar. Since its inception, the project has grown tremendously, and the scale of participation confirms that our commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle continues to inspire the people of Dubai and its visitors,” — noted Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council.

A Grand Sporting Finale
The final event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2025 — a month-long celebration of healthy living — will be the Dubai Yoga program. The session will take place on November 30 in Zabeel Park at sunset, bringing together thousands of people for a collective outdoor experience. Participants will gather under the open sky to conclude the month of activity in an atmosphere of harmony and mindfulness.
Meanwhile, three free 30×30 fitness villages, thirty public fitness hubs, and thousands of sports activities remain available across the city — inviting everyone to make movement a part of their daily routine.
