The airline has announced changes to its baggage policy: starting 1 March 2026, the maximum weight of free carry-on baggage will increase from 5 kg to 7 kg.
The size limits remain unchanged at 56 × 23 × 36 cm. All bags and backpacks must fit into the baggage sizer. The “one item only” rule will also stay in force. Passengers may bring only one piece of carry-on baggage. Items such as handbags or laptops are not allowed separately. They must be packed inside the main bag.
The new rules apply to all flights departing from 1 March, regardless of when the ticket was purchased. For flights departing up to and including 28 February, the current rules will remain valid. In those cases, the carry-on limit stays at 5 kg.
The low-cost carrier said the decision followed a market analysis. According to the airline, about 75% of passengers travel with carry-on baggage only. The additional 2 kg is expected to be a noticeable improvement for them.
