What does this mean for travelers? Now Kazakhstanis will be able to travel to India without a visa fee – the visa will be valid for up to 30 days. It is suitable for tourist trips, medical treatment and accompanying loved ones.

There are two ways to apply for a visa: online or in person at the Indian Embassy.

According to estimates by the Indian side, about 250,000 Indian citizens visited Kazakhstan in 2025. This indicates an increase in tourist exchange between the two countries.

India today is not only a country with a rich culture and history, but also one of the fastest growing economies in the world. It ranks fourth in size and is making strides in IT, artificial intelligence, fintech, pharmaceuticals, and digital infrastructure.

India and Kazakhstan are strengthening their strategic partnership by actively cooperating within the SCO, BRICS, CICA, the United Nations and the India–Central Asia format.

The volume of bilateral trade has already reached about 1 billion US dollars, but, as the ambassador noted, the potential for developing cooperation is much higher.

In conclusion, Y. K. Silas Tangal congratulated the guests on the occasion of the Republic of India Day and expressed confidence in further strengthening relations between the two countries.
