Summer Route to the Mediterranean: Direct Flights from Kazakhstan to Larnaca

Air Astana has opened ticket sales for seasonal flights to Larnaca as part of its summer 2026 schedule.

Flights from Astana will operate from June 2 to September 5 on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Departures are scheduled for the morning and daytime hours, with return flights from Larnaca operating in the afternoon.

The flight time will be approximately five hours and forty minutes outbound and just over five hours on the return leg.

From Almaty, flights will operate from June 4 to September 6 on Thursdays and Sundays. Departures are scheduled for early morning, with return flights during the daytime. The flight to Larnaca will take around six hours, while the return journey will take about five and a half hours.

All flights will be operated by modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, designed for long-haul routes and enhanced passenger comfort.

Ticket sales are already open on the official Air Astana website and through the airline’s agency network. Round-trip fares from Almaty start at 300,819 tenge (USD 595) in economy class and from 783,377 tenge (USD 1,550) in business class. From Astana, fares are available from 286,881 tenge (USD 570) in economy class and from 729,184 tenge (USD 1,440) in business class, including all taxes and fees.

Larnaca is a city located in southeastern Cyprus, known for its Finikoudes promenade, Mackenzie Beach, the Church of Saint Lazarus, and the Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque.

Earlier, new international routes were also announced in Kazakhstan, including direct flights to Shanghai.
