According to the updated Development Strategy through 2030, Uzbekistan plans to increase the number of countries its citizens can visit without a visa to 50.

The expansion will occur in stages: from 37 countries by 2026 to 50 by 2030. Oversight is assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the same time, the number of countries offering a simplified entry process for Uzbek citizens is expected to rise from 45 to 60 over the next five years.

The strategy also envisions agreements allowing travel across Central Asian countries using national ID cards. Two agreements are planned for 2026, with an additional one scheduled for 2027.
