GOZAR of ARTISANS was initiated by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan (ACDF). The concept was developed by Lebanese designer Nada Debs. The project was created in collaboration with SAADI Ethno. It is a place where design, cultural heritage, and modern creative expression come together in a unified experience.
GOZAR is conceived as a platform for reimagining Uzbek craftsmanship. Here, artisans and artists do more than display their works. They engage in a dialogue with tradition. They create objects, installations, and limited-edition collections. Each piece reflects respect for the past and the energy of the present. Craft becomes a living creative practice, and familiar techniques gain new interpretations.
Participating artists and artisans include: Madina Kasimbaeva, Davlat Toshev, Nodir Rasulov, Alisher Rakhimov, Abduvakhid Karimov, Jurabek Sidikov, Hasan Umarov, Gulnora Odilova, Sharifjon Raupov, Abdulla Narzullaev, Alisher Nazirov, Nurmuhammad Valiev, Bakhtiyar Nazirov, Otabek Gaibullaev, Bakhodir Khadjimetov, Mirzabakhrom Abduvakhobov, Shorasul Shoakhmedov, Nilufar Sadullaeva, Odamboy Masharipov, Sharofiddin Yusupov, Nodir Mannonov, Oybek Mingboyev, Okila Elmatova, Ramziddin Azizov, Abdulla Abdurazzokov, Kamoliddin Abdullaev, Anvar Isroilov, Feruza Alieva, Nigora Khashimova, and Iroda Agzamkhoja.
