President Sadyr Japarov has signed a decree to establish the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Egypt. The diplomatic mission will be based in Cairo.

The new embassy will employ five staff members. Its opening aims to strengthen ties between the two countries, including political dialogue, economic cooperation, education, science, and cultural exchange.
