For four days, the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe transformed into a space where fashion became a language of cultural dialogue across Central Asia.
This year’s theme, “The Treasure of Oxus,” highlighted the region’s historical richness, ancient civilizations, and refined artistic heritage.
The fashion week reaffirmed its status as a key creative platform that brings together designers exploring the intersection of tradition and modernity through form, materials, and design philosophy.
Cultural Diplomacy Through Fashion
The Uzbek delegation was represented by the production center SAMAN’S PRD, founded by Samandar Saraev — a producer of international fashion projects. The center develops brands working with Uzbekistan’s cultural identity and helps them enter the global fashion scene.

Collection “Sharq Nafosati”
The collection is dedicated to Eastern elegance. The looks incorporate motifs of traditional embroidery, ornamental patterns, and the symbolic pomegranate — one of the key cultural emblems of the region. Deep burgundy shades are paired with soft pastels, creating a refined and expressive color palette. Each piece pays homage to Samarkand, its history, and its artisanal culture.
ELPARI
Tashkent-based designer Shakhnoza Jurabayeva is known for her distinctive approach to form. Asymmetry, volume, delicate proportions, and intricate hand embroidery define her artistic style.
The ELPARI brand creates garments where ethnic fabrics and bead embroidery transform into modern art objects.
New Collection
The collection is built on architectural silhouettes and handcrafted techniques. Every detail matters — relief, volume, and texture. Each look tells a story about finding balance between tradition and experimentation.
IKAT BY ASMIRA
Designer Amira Hakimova from Samarkand is known for her bold reinterpretation of national forms. Her brand IKAT BY ASMIRA reimagines the iconic Uzbek chapan, turning it into a striking element of contemporary urban fashion.
The garments are made from natural handwoven ikat fabrics, premium cotton, and unique fragments of antique suzani, making each piece a true work of art.
New Collection
The collection explores how the traditional chapan can exist in the rhythm of the 21st century. These pieces are created for those who value cultural heritage yet embrace individuality and bold expression.
The work of IKAT BY ASMIRA demonstrates that national clothing can be modern, expressive, and relevant — without losing connection to its history and roots.
